Q: 1. Is the foil raised?
A: No, the foil is not raised.

Q: 2. How long will it take for me to receive my cards?
A: You will receive your order in approximately 8-9 business days. Our production department is closed on weekends. We are shipping in Florida only.

Q: 3. Do I have to pay shipping for my cards?
A: If you live in Florida or Texas, you don't have to pay shipping. For shipping costs to Puerto Rico and other states please contact us.

Q: 4. What size are foil laminated business cards?
A: Foil laminated business cards are 3.5" (8.8cm) x 2" (5.0cm).

Q: 5. How thick are foil laminated business cards?
A: 16pt thick (equal to .016 of an inch). Each point (pt) is equal to .001 of an inch, to give you a frame of reference.

Q: 6. I have only one idea of the design, can you create the artwork for me?
A: If you have an idea for your design, but do not have a digital file prepared by a graphic designer ready to print, you will need to create the artwork. We offer design services, please contact us for a quote.

Q: 7. if I have my own design. How do I set up my artwork files? What are your file specifications?
A: To ensure the printing quality of your cards, your design must meet certain technical specifications required by our production department. We can only use one type of foil per order so for example you can not order a Foil Worx job with Gold foil on the front and Silver foil on the back. You must provide a separate Foil mask file: black in the areas you want the foil and white in the areas you do not want the foil. All black areas should be solid 100% K (CMYK 60%,40%, 40%, 100% ) with no other added colors. Please keep in mind, avoid using small / fine text or lines for foil objects. For best results, please make sure that foil coverage is less than 50% of the entire print side. Also, be aware that there may be up to a 1/16″ shift on the placement of the foil. Keep this in mind if you are trying to align foil with other printed artwork on the card. For better quality we recommend creating mask files in vector based programs such as Illustrator




Files to submit: Front file, back file, Mask files (Rich Black color CMYK 60%,40%, 40%, 100% ): Front mask and back mask (if applicable).

Bleed should be 0.0625 "on each side (top, bottom, left and right) and should extend beyond the cut line, this will be trimmed from the product during the final cut phase. Keep all text at least 0.50 "from the edge. The final size of your art, with the margin should be 3.625 "x 2.125". However, at the time of printing and cutting your cards will have a standard size of 2 "x 3.5".
Templates: Our template is used as a guide or reference to show general placement of logos/graphic elements, however, when submitting the artwork, you must submit it without the guidelines, otherwise they would be printed. See image below for example. To get template click on the following link:
